Notes
You can store any leftovers of your Blood Orange Margarita in your fridge for 2-3 days.Choosing your Blood Oranges - Any blood orange you use will have that classic taste. But note that if the Blood orange is more orange in color the juice will be lighter and you will also get more juice out of the blood orange. If the outside of the orange is more of a darker red color the juice will be darker as well. But there will likely be less juice in these oranges.Strain Your Blood Orange Juice - If you are using fresh blood oranges to get your juice, be sure to strain it before adding it int your cocktail shaker to remove any pulp or seeds that might come out.Sweetener - If you don't have simple syrup on hand you can also use an ounce of agave nectar as a substitute in this recipe.
