Savor the best of both worlds with our Brazilian Mojito, a creative concoction that combines the cool freshness of a Mojito with the zesty kick of a Brazilian Caipirinha.
WaterI used still, but sparkling would be lovely, too
Instructions
Using a muddler (or the back of a wooden spoon), muddle the mint leaves and sugar together in the bottom of a rocks glass. When you think you're done, muddle it for another 30 seconds. You want it to be really muddy.
Add the lime wedges and muddle for another 60 seconds.
Fill the glass with ice, and pour in the cachaça and triple sec over the top.
Top it off with water and give it a few swirls with a stir stick. Alternatively, you can make this in a cocktail shaker and pour the mixture over ice.
Garnish with an extra lime wedge, and enjoy your drink!
Notes
Storage Info:Brazilian Mojitos are best enjoyed fresh and aren't ideal for long-term storage. If necessary, you can store the mixture without ice in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. If you've stored your mojito in the fridge, simply give it a good stir or shake before serving to rejuvenate its flavors.
