Expert Tip
Utilize a food processor for an efficient way to crush the tortilla chips in this Tortilla Crusted Tilapia recipe. It offers the convenience of quickly achieving the texture you desire, whether fine or coarse. Pulse the chips in short bursts, monitoring the size closely. However, be mindful not to over-process; retaining some texture is key for the crust to adhere well to the fish and ensure a satisfying crunch.

This tilapia looks divine! Does the tortilla turn out crunchy or does it mush in the oven?
It stays crunchy!
I hope you had a blast in Vegas!!!! Funny thing, I got tilapia out for dinner tonight! I almost always make it with capers in a white wine sauce…but I am ALSO having a case of the Mondays and this recipe looks much easier, so I will make this!
I read the post on the house your dad left you last night. I was so thrilled you shared that with us (me). I follow a few bloggers but yours is my favorite, and for you to take that leap and share something so personal really meant a lot to me. And, I really enjoyed getting to know more about you. The house looks really cool and I am so excited for you!!! Very much a dream home come true! And the property, WOW! Just super stunning and I am so glad that you are excited about it; I can’t wait to see and hear more!
I did want to at least comment though about the less than wonderful comments. My jaw dropped when I read them and then my heart sank. Like you said, this is the internet after all, and I usually just shake my head but I still will just never understand. The same as I will never understand why my sister felt like it was okay to criticize me for not using the Saran Wrap brand name plastic wrap because instead all I had was the Aldi brand last night at the party for my 16 year old that I worked so hard on! I don’t remember asking her opinion on what type of plastic wrap I buy?!?! But she sure let me know! I have super thin skin that way I guess, so seeing the less than wonderful comments upset me. I see this a comment section, and I only read you sharing something very raw and personal…I didn’t see where you asked for opinions but again as you said, this is the internet after all. Still….
Okay so that was more than I usually say too, so there’s that and good luck recuperating from your Vegas trip!
