These crispy beef tacos are everything you want for taco night. Golden, crunchy shells filled with savory, perfectly seasoned ground beef and finished with fresh, flavorful toppings. I love making these because they’re simple and everyone can fix their own with their favorite toppings!

How to Make Crispy Beef Tacos

Step #1: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

Step #2: In a large skillet over medium-high heat add in the ground beef and onion and cook until meat has browned. Drain any excess fat.

Step #3: Next, lower to medium heat and add in the taco seasoning, water, garlic, lime juice, diced green chilies, salt and pepper to the pan and mix.

Step #4: Once the water has evaporated, add in 1 cup of cheddar cheese and stir until everything has combined.

Step #5: Doing 8 at a time, wrap the tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave them for a minute, flipping them halfway through.

Step #6: Then place a tortilla on your prepared baking sheet, spoon ⅛-¼ cup of the beef filling to one half of the tortilla and sprinkle on a little of the remaining cheddar cheese. Do not fill them too much or they will ooze out the sides.

Step #7: Fold the tortilla more than halfway over as it will peel back slightly while baking in the oven. Then lightly brush the top of the tortilla with olive oil. Repeat until one baking sheet is full.

What are some toppings I can use for these Crispy Beef Tacos?

Some toppings I love and recommend would be lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole or avocado slices. I also like to sprinkle a little bit of fresh cilantro on top as well.

Should I use yellow corn or white corn tortillas?

Either! I have made this recipe with both and they are both delicious!

How to Make Honey Glazed Turkey

Step #1: Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.

Step #2: In a small bowl combine all the spices for the turkey.

Step #4: Next, wrap the turkey in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes and up to 24 hours.

Step #5: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step #6: Place the turkey in a baking dish.

Step #7: Next, melt the butter and brush it all over the turkey.

Step #8: Place the turkey in the oven to roast for 30 minutes.

Step #9: While the turkey is roasting, make the glaze. In a saucepan over medium-high heat combine the honey, butter, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Allow the mixture to bubble then bring it to a simmer for 3 minutes.

Step #10: After the turkey has baked for 30 minutes, remove it from the oven and brush ⅓ of the glaze over the turkey.

Step #14: Allow the honey-roasted turkey to rest for 10-15 minutes before carving. Then, serve and enjoy!

Expert Tips

Turkey Netting: You don’t have to use the netting on the turkey but if you cook it with it on it will give your turkey that classic look with the indentions on the side.

Turkey Drippings: If you are making this on a holiday you can use the pan drippings from the turkey to make a delicious gravy!

FAQs

How long do I cook my turkey if it is larger than 3 pounds?

Rule of thumb is to have a cooking time of 20-30 minutes per pound of turkey. So add or subtract as you need for your turkey. Larger turkey breasts may brown more quickly since they spend more time in the oven; if you notice the skin getting too dark, loosely tent the top with foil to prevent over-browning. For turkey breasts larger than about 4 pounds, you can delay adding the glaze until the final 45–60 minutes of roasting to avoid the honey caramelizing too deeply.  Be sure the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit and you’re all set!

I love flatbreads. They are like a thin pizza with less carbs and a lot more flavor. These BBQ Chicken Flatbreads are no exception. I combined barbecue sauce with marinara to create this BBQ Pizza flavored sauce. Then topped it with spiced chicken and fresh veggies to make a flavor-packed meal that will wow your guests.

This salt and pepper shrimp recipe is light and fresh and bound to fill your seafood craving. The shrimp is coated in a light cornstarch and seasoning and cooked to perfection then tossed with a colorful array of diced veggies to amp up the flavor. How to Make Salt and Pepper Shrimp

Step #1: Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel and sprinkle with ½ teaspoon of garlic salt.

Step #2: Next, toss the shrimp into the bowl with corn starch and set aside.

Step #3: Then, in a wok over high heat, add the vegetable oil. Once the oil reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit add in the first batch of shrimp, be sure not to overcrowd the pot.

Step #4: Cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side then remove and set aside on a plate. Repeat until all the shrimp have been cooked to a beautiful golden brown.

Step #5: Once the shrimp have been cooked, turn off the heat and reserve 1 teaspoon of the oil and discard any excess oil.

Step #6: Wipe out the wok and then turn to low heat and add in your teaspoon of reserved oil and garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Step #7: Then, add the onion, bell pepper, jalapenos, and the white parts of the green onions into the pan and cook for 1 minute.

Step #8: Next add the shrimp, half of the seasoning, and chives and cook for 1-2 minutes until everything has warmed and combined together. Taste and add more seasoning if desired.

Do I have to use vegetable oil for this Salt and Pepper Shrimp?

No. When you are frying your shrimp you can use canola oil, corn oil, or any other deep-frying oil you prefer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb extra large shrimp raw, peeled, and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup red onion finely diced
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper finely diced
  • 3 stalks green onions diced and separated
  • 1 jalapeno finely diced
  • 6 oz vegetable oil

Shrimp Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 3-4 Tbsp cornstarch

Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Instructions

  • Pat the shrimp dry and sprinkle with ½ teaspoon of garlic salt.
  • Next, toss the shrimp into the bowl with cornstarch and set aside.
  • Then, in a wok over high heat, add the vegetable oil. Once the oil reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit add in the first batch of shrimp, be sure not to overcrowd the pot.
  • Cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side then remove and set aside on a plate. Repeat until all the shrimp have been cooked.
  • Once the shrimp have been cooked, turn off the heat and reserve 1 tsp of the oil and discard the remainder.
  • Wipe out the wok and then turn the heat onto low and add in your teaspoon of reserved oil and garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Then, add the onion, bell pepper, jalapenos, and the white parts of the green onions and cook for 1 minute.
  • Next add the shrimp, half of the seasoning, and chives and cook for 1-2 minutes until everything has warmed and combined together. Taste and add more seasoning if desired.
  • Finally, serve and enjoy!

You can store any leftovers of this salt and pepper shrimp in an airtight container in your fridge for 2-3 days. I do not recommend freezing because it will cause the shrimp coating to turn to mush.
To reheat you can do so in your oven or air fryer at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes. You can also reheat in a skillet over medium-high heat and stir everything together until warmed through.

This Honey Mustard Salmon is a flavorful and nutritious dish that combines the richness of tender, flaky salmon with a balanced sweet and tangy glaze. There’s only a few ingredients and it comes together in 35 minutes making it a simple recipe for any night of the week.

How to Make Honey Mustard Salmon

Step #1: Heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a rimmed baking sheet pan with aluminum foil. Lightly spray the foil with non-stick cooking spray and place your salmon fillets on the foil. If you are using skinned salmon, be sure to put the skin side down.

Step #2: Next, add all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together until combined.

Step #3: Then, spoon half the honey mustard sauce over the top of the salmon pieces until they are all coated well. Make sure that the spoon doesn’t touch the salmon as we will be using some of the sauce for after cooking as well – or if you prefer, you can divide the sauce into two bowls and use one for while cooking and another for after cooking.

Step #4: Next, cover the top of the salmon with another sheet of aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is almost cooked through.

Step #5: Then, take the salmon out of the oven, remove the top sheet of aluminum foil and turn your oven to broil on LOW.

Step #6: Add a small amount of remaining sauce on top of the salmon pieces and broil in your oven, uncovered, for 3-5 minutes until it has reached your desired doneness.

Can I use Dijon mustard instead of regular mustard for this salmon recipe?

Of course! Dijon mustard is a great substitute for your honey-mustard glaze if you don’t have regular mustard. I’ve made this recipe with both but prefer the bold taste of regular mustard compared to Dijon.

How to Make Crab Pasta

Step #1: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the spaghetti to al dente according to the package directions. Then drain the pasta and set aside.

Step #2: Five minutes before the pasta is ready, set a large pan over medium-low heat and melt the butter.

Step #3: Next, add in the garlic, white wine, and lemon juice, turn the heat to medium and let it reduce to a simmer for 2 minutes.

Step #4: Then, turn the heat to low and stir in the crab meat along with ½ cup pasta water, the cooked spaghetti, and the freshly shredded parmesan cheese and toss everything together.

No. I know some folks have shellfish allergies, or simply do not prefer crab. You can instead substitute in imitation crab meat into this pasta dish.

How to Make Baja Shrimp Tacos

Step #1: In a glass measuring cup whisk together the mayo, sugar, pineapple juice, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper to make the coleslaw dressing.

Step #2: In a large bowl add in the coleslaw, pineapple, green onions, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño and toss together.

Step #3: Add ½ of the coleslaw dressing to the slaw mixture and toss everything together. Set in the fridge to chill.

Step #4: Next, add the garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and salt into a small bowl and mix the spices together.
