These crispy beef tacos are everything you want for taco night. Golden, crunchy shells filled with savory, perfectly seasoned ground beef and finished with fresh, flavorful toppings. I love making these because they’re simple and everyone can fix their own with their favorite toppings!

Ground Beef – The base for these crispy beef tacos.

How to Make Crispy Beef Tacos

Step #1: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

Step #2: In a large skillet over medium-high heat add in the ground beef and onion and cook until meat has browned. Drain any excess fat.

Step #3: Next, lower to medium heat and add in the taco seasoning, water, garlic, lime juice, diced green chilies, salt and pepper to the pan and mix.

Step #4: Once the water has evaporated, add in 1 cup of cheddar cheese and stir until everything has combined.

Step #5: Doing 8 at a time, wrap the tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave them for a minute, flipping them halfway through.

Step #6: Then place a tortilla on your prepared baking sheet, spoon ⅛-¼ cup of the beef filling to one half of the tortilla and sprinkle on a little of the remaining cheddar cheese. Do not fill them too much or they will ooze out the sides.

Step #7: Fold the tortilla more than halfway over as it will peel back slightly while baking in the oven. Then lightly brush the top of the tortilla with olive oil. Repeat until one baking sheet is full.

What are some toppings I can use for these Crispy Beef Tacos?

Some toppings I love and recommend would be lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole or avocado slices. I also like to sprinkle a little bit of fresh cilantro on top as well.

Should I use yellow corn or white corn tortillas?

Either! I have made this recipe with both and they are both delicious!

This Honey Glazed Turkey is the perfect blend of sweet and savory, featuring a beautifully roasted turkey breast brushed with a glossy honey glaze that caramelizes to golden perfection. You can serve it during the holidays or even slice it up for sandwiches. Everyone will love it!

How to Make Honey Glazed Turkey

Step #1: Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.

Step #2: In a small bowl combine all the spices for the turkey.

Step #4: Next, wrap the turkey in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes and up to 24 hours.

Step #5: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step #6: Place the turkey in a baking dish.

Step #7: Next, melt the butter and brush it all over the turkey.

Step #8: Place the turkey in the oven to roast for 30 minutes.

Step #9: While the turkey is roasting, make the glaze. In a saucepan over medium-high heat combine the honey, butter, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Allow the mixture to bubble then bring it to a simmer for 3 minutes.

Step #10: After the turkey has baked for 30 minutes, remove it from the oven and brush ⅓ of the glaze over the turkey.

Step #11: Bake for another 30 minutes and then remove from the oven and brush another ⅓ of the glaze over the turkey.

Step #12: Bake in the oven for another 15 minutes or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit then remove from the oven.

Step #13: Spread the remaining glaze over the turkey.

Step #14: Allow the honey-roasted turkey to rest for 10-15 minutes before carving. Then, serve and enjoy!

Expert Tips

Turkey Netting: You don’t have to use the netting on the turkey but if you cook it with it on it will give your turkey that classic look with the indentions on the side.

Turkey Drippings: If you are making this on a holiday you can use the pan drippings from the turkey to make a delicious gravy!

FAQs

How long do I cook my turkey if it is larger than 3 pounds?

Rule of thumb is to have a cooking time of 20-30 minutes per pound of turkey. So add or subtract as you need for your turkey. Larger turkey breasts may brown more quickly since they spend more time in the oven; if you notice the skin getting too dark, loosely tent the top with foil to prevent over-browning. For turkey breasts larger than about 4 pounds, you can delay adding the glaze until the final 45–60 minutes of roasting to avoid the honey caramelizing too deeply.  Be sure the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit and you’re all set!

I love flatbreads. They are like a thin pizza with less carbs and a lot more flavor. These BBQ Chicken Flatbreads are no exception. I combined barbecue sauce with marinara to create this BBQ Pizza flavored sauce. Then topped it with spiced chicken and fresh veggies to make a flavor-packed meal that will wow your guests.

Mozzarella Cheese – A creamy cheese that pairs perfectly with all of the flavors in this dish.

Smoked Paprika – To add a smoky element and taste to the chicken pieces on top of the flatbreads.

Cheese – If you are not a fan of mozzarella you can also use cheddar cheese, Monterey jack cheese, or any other cheese you prefer.

Bread – Other bread options for this recipe would be naan bread, or even using pizza crusts to make it more of a pizza.

How to Make BBQ Chicken Flatbreads

Step #1: In a medium bowl, add the chicken, olive oil, and spices and toss everything together until it’s evenly coated.

Step #2: Next, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6 minutes or until they have browned and cooked through to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step #3: Then, preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a rimmed baking sheet (or two depending on the size of your flatbreads) with parchment paper.

Step #4: Next, in a small bowl, mix the BBQ and marinara sauce together.

Step #5: Place the flatbreads onto your prepared baking sheets and brush a thin layer of sauce over each.

This salt and pepper shrimp recipe is light and fresh and bound to fill your seafood craving. The shrimp is coated in a light cornstarch and seasoning and cooked to perfection then tossed with a colorful array of diced veggies to amp up the flavor. I love serving this recipe over White Rice to create the perfect meal.

How to Make Salt and Pepper Shrimp

Step #1: Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel and sprinkle with ½ teaspoon of garlic salt.

Step #2: Next, toss the shrimp into the bowl with corn starch and set aside.

Step #3: Then, in a wok over high heat, add the vegetable oil. Once the oil reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit add in the first batch of shrimp, be sure not to overcrowd the pot.

Step #4: Cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side then remove and set aside on a plate. Repeat until all the shrimp have been cooked to a beautiful golden brown.

Step #5: Once the shrimp have been cooked, turn off the heat and reserve 1 teaspoon of the oil and discard any excess oil.

Step #6: Wipe out the wok and then turn to low heat and add in your teaspoon of reserved oil and garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Step #7: Then, add the onion, bell pepper, jalapenos, and the white parts of the green onions into the pan and cook for 1 minute.

Step #8: Next add the shrimp, half of the seasoning, and chives and cook for 1-2 minutes until everything has warmed and combined together. Taste and add more seasoning if desired.

They are richer and have a smoother taste than your typical navel orange. Plus, they have this beautiful deep red coloring that really catches your eye.

I prefer using silver tequila but it truly doesn’t matter. You can also use reposado tequila, Blanco tequila, or any other tequila you prefer.
