Lavender martinis surrounded by lavender sprigs.

When I initially think of lavender, I think of a scent. Usually a candle burning in my house. But lavender is so much more than that. It’s an herb that has a myriad of uses. This Lavender martini is an aromatic cocktail that will send your taste buds dancing!

Flavored martinis are my favorite! For more martini recipes you have to try my Sour Apple Martini, Espresso Martini, and Cucumber Martini!

Recipe Ingredients

Lavender martinis with lemon slices around.

Gin – I use Empress Gin because it has a purple tone to it, enhancing the overall color of the martini.

Lavender Simple Syrup – To add in an aromatic sweet lavender flavor.

Fresh Lemon Juice – To bring in some acidity to the overall beverage.

Expert Tips

Chilled Martini Glass – To chill your martini glass you can either fill the martini glass with ice cubes or place the martini glass in your freezer for 10-15 minutes.

Vermouth – To make this more like a classic martini you can take ½ ounce of dry vermouth, swirl it around in your martini glass and discard of it before adding in the Lavender Martini.

FAQs

Do I have to use gin in this Lavender Martini?

No. This recipe would work with 2 ½ ounce vodka or even lavender vodka as well. Use whichever you prefer when it comes to liquor.

What other garnishes can I use for my cocktail glass?

If you are not able to find dried lavender sprigs you can also use a lemon slice or even a lemon peel to garnish on the rim of the glass.
